Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

OCEANWAVE PUPIL ART LLC operates Flexsetu and is responsible for the personal information described here. This policy covers the Flexsetu website, app and customer support.

2. Information you give us

  • Account: whether you are a person or an organization, your username, your password (which we store only in a form that cannot be read back) and the email you link to your account.
  • Identity and business verification: for people, your full name, date of birth and images of your identity documents; for organizations, the legal name, registration number, the name of the authorized representative and supporting documents.
  • Profile: your display name and avatar, your skills, and details you choose to add, such as your age range, gender or education.
  • Marketplace activity: the tasks and services you post, applications, the work you hand in, files you upload, chat messages, reviews, reports and dispute evidence.
  • Payments: the amount and status of your top-ups, which come from our payment provider (we do not receive or store your full card number), and the bank account details you add for withdrawals.
  • Support: what you write to us and what we answer.

3. Information we collect automatically

  • Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, language, and the times you sign in and use the service. We use it to keep accounts secure, to stop abuse such as mass sign-ups, and to fix problems.
  • Cookies: we use only the cookies the service needs to work: to keep you signed in, to protect forms against forgery and to remember your language. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
  • Location: the current version of Flexsetu does not collect your precise location. If a feature ever needs it, we will ask your permission first.

4. Information from others

  • Our payment provider tells us whether a payment went through.
  • Identity verification providers, if we use one, tell us the result of a check.
  • Other users may review you, report you or send you messages.

5. How we use your information

  • To run your account and the marketplace: listing tasks and services, matching orders, messaging and notices.
  • To hold, pay out, refund and withdraw money, and to keep accurate financial records.
  • To verify identities and businesses, and to prevent fraud, money laundering and other abuse.
  • To review tasks, services and content against our rules, and to decide cancellations and disputes.
  • To answer support requests and send you notices about your account and orders.
  • To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.
  • To meet our legal obligations and to protect our rights and the rights of our users.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising based on your activity on other sites.

6. Who can see your information

  • Everyone: your public profile, which shows your avatar, display name, account ID, verification badge, followers, completed orders, reputation, the skills you make public and your listed tasks and services. Your username is not shown to others.
  • The other side of your order: what the order needs, such as the task, the work handed in, the order's messages and files, and reviews.
  • Our staff: only the people whose role requires it, with access recorded in audit logs. Identity documents, bank details and dispute evidence are never public.
  • Service providers who work for us: hosting, data storage, email delivery, payment processing and identity verification, only for the work they do for us.
  • Authorities and others when the law requires it, or when needed to protect someone's safety or our users' rights.
  • A buyer or successor of our business, if we are part of a merger or acquisition, under this policy.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. After that, we keep financial records (top-ups, payouts, withdrawals and the ledger), orders, dispute evidence and audit logs for as long as the law, tax and accounting rules, or the prevention of fraud require. We delete or anonymize other information when we no longer need it.

8. How we protect it

We use encrypted connections, store passwords only in a form that cannot be read back, encrypt sensitive information, require multi-factor sign-in for staff, give staff only the access their role needs and record that access. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password safe and tell us if you think your account has been misused.

9. Your choices and rights

  • See and correct most of your information in your account settings.
  • Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it.
  • Choose not to receive marketing email. We send marketing email only if you agree to it; emails about your account and orders are part of the service.

To make a request, email us with “Privacy request” in the subject. We confirm who you are before we act, and we answer within the time the law sets. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. Some information we must keep, as section 7 describes.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to ask us to delete or correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you. Residents of other states may have similar rights, and we honor them in the same way.

10. Children

Flexsetu is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

11. Where your information is processed

We process your information in the United States and in the other countries where our service providers operate. Wherever it is processed, we protect it as this policy describes.

12. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy. We post the new version here with a new date, and for important changes we also tell you in the app or by email.
